Kisspeptin-10 Stimulates Hypothalamic Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone and LH Pulsatility in Healthy Men

Kisspeptin is an essential upstream activator of GnRH release. We investigated the neuroendocrine response to bolus and continuous intravenous kisspeptin-10 administration in healthy men. Intravenous kisspeptin-10 elicited a rapid, dose-dependent release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and pulse frequency increase within 15 minutes, validating kisspeptin as a potent non-pituitary neuroendocrine regulator of the human reproductive axis.

Observed Outcome: Immediate and robust dose-dependent rise in circulating LH pulse amplitude and frequency
